Pum started cooking from a very early age, being taught by her Grandmother.....this was more of a chore than a hobby but her Grandmother made it interesting. She loved, and hated, cooking at this stage and it was only during her studying in England that she started to enjoy the kitchen.
Upon her return to Thailand, Pum decided she would like to continue her passion for food and so the first Pum Restaurant & Cooking School was opened on Ko Phi Phi. Due to its massive success the second branch on Patong Beach was opened just two years later and, already the subject of numerous articles in both local and international papers and periodicals, such as The Guardian newspaper and Lonely Planet travel guides, has proven to be just as popular.
With it's growing popularity the Pum phenomenon moved to France and has been welcomed with open arms. Plans to open further restaurants around Europe are well under way and maybe some day soon there will be a little orange house in your neighbourhood as well.
Keep those fingers crossed!!!
